With the newsletter module, the client website collects subscribers and sends newsletters, without your client needing a separate mail tool.
Gaining subscribers
The module provides a signup form as an embed code for the website. Signups use double opt-in: whoever subscribes confirms by email, and only then does the address join the list. That's a legal requirement in the EU and built firmly into the module. You can see the subscriber list in the tab; unsubscribes happen automatically via the link in every mail.
Design & legal
In the settings, expand the "Design & legal" tile: an accent colour for the form and emails, a logo for the email header (without an entry, the logo from the website's design profile is used automatically), and the link to your client's privacy policy, shown below the signup form.
Writing and sending newsletters
Newsletters are created in a dialogue: you briefly describe the occasion ("spring promotion, 10% off everything in April"), the AI asks for whatever is missing in one go — content, links, images (upload them via the paperclip) — and builds the draft. Next to it you instantly see the preview in the real email layout: tinted background, centred box, the website's logo in the header, colours from the design profile, buttons in the accent colour. The AI builds varied blocks — an opener, a highlighted offer box, an icon list, an opening-hours table, a customer quote — instead of just stacking text. Type change requests straight into the chat ("punchier subject line", "move the image up") until it's right — then one click to send. Prefer writing yourself? The simple text newsletter is still there, collapsible below the dialogue.
Sender address
Newsletters can come from a dedicated sender domain, say news@smiths-bakery.com. For that, the tab shows you the required DNS records (DKIM, SPF, MX) along with their verification status. You create those records at the domain's registrar, just like when connecting a domain. Without a dedicated sender domain, sending still works, just from a neutral sender address.
Design chat
Every widget can be freely restyled in a dialogue: in the module tab, describe in the design chat how it should look ("dark look with gold accents", "like a business card") — the AI then writes real CSS against the widget, with a live preview before applying. Functional elements (inputs, buttons, mandatory notices such as the AI disclosure or consent) are always preserved. Without a custom design, the standard applies, based on the colours and typography from the website's design profile. "Reset" restores the standard at any time.
