Module: SEO & AI visibility

Last updated:

With the SEO module you — and above all your client — can see whether the website gets found: every week we automatically measure where it ranks on Google, and once a month we check whether AI assistants like ChatGPT recommend the business. Everything in plain language, no SEO jargon.

Set up search terms

In the client's SEO tab you define up to 25 search terms — the words real customers would google, such as "roofer bochum" or "gutter repair". The Get suggestions button reads the website content and proposes matching terms; add them with one click. You can always add your own terms as well.

For every term you also see the search volume — roughly how often it is googled per month, with a small trend line over the last twelve months. Suggestions are sorted by it too: what many people search for comes first.

Weekly Google check

For every search term we automatically check once a week where the website ranks on Google — in the regular results and in the map pack (the box with the Google Maps listings). The tab shows the current position per term, the change versus the previous week, and a history over time. "Not in the top 100" is an honest answer — and the starting point where progress becomes visible.

Check now triggers a check manually (at most once a day — rankings don't change faster than that).

Keyword opportunities and competitors

The keyword opportunities block shows real Google data for the domain: on the left, what the website already gets found for in the top 10; on the right, the terms ranking 11–30 — where page 1 is within reach with a little work. Any opportunity can be added to the tracked search terms with one click; the optimization itself you commission from the assistant as usual ("optimize the page for …").

Below that you see the competitors: the providers currently ranking ahead of your client for the measured search terms — with frequency and best position. The data comes from the same Google results the weekly check measures anyway.

AI visibility: does ChatGPT recommend the business?

More and more people no longer ask Google but an AI: "Who is the best hairdresser in Gifhorn?" The module asks exactly these questions — generated automatically from the website content — to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity every month and checks whether the business appears in the answers.

You see the result per platform ("gets recommended" / "does not appear"), together with a plain-language summary and simple recommendations to improve visibility — for example naming services and location more clearly, or collecting Google reviews. As always, your client can commission website changes directly via a message to the assistant.

Actions and handoff to your coding agent

From all measured data the module creates a prioritized action list: concrete website changes ("own section for 'willow privacy screen' with the term in title and heading", "FAQ with the typical customer questions"). Each action can be applied by the Pagoras assistant directly — the order runs through the normal pipeline, including approval mode and screenshot verification.

If you develop the website with your own coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor …), there is the SEO brief: a Markdown document with the business, target keywords including current rankings, opportunities, competitors, AI visibility and the action list. Two ways:

  • Copy: click "Copy SEO brief" in the SEO tab and paste it into your agent's chat window.
  • Always current via MCP: connect the Pagoras MCP in Claude Code or Codex — the seo_brief tool delivers the brief up to date, so your agent can load it before any SEO work.

Settings

City and business name make the measurement more precise: with a city we measure Google results from the region's perspective (important for the map pack), without one we measure nationwide. Both are pre-filled automatically the first time you get suggestions and can be changed at any time.

In the monthly report

If the monthly report module is active, the report automatically gets a section on Google rankings with positions and trends — plus the month's AI visibility. Your client sees in black and white, every month, what your work delivers.

Price

Included with your agency's first website; €29 per month for each additional website, cancellable monthly.
